Application Process
We offer four main entry points at ELC, Year 5, Year 7 and Year 10, with smaller intakes at Reception, Year 3 and Year 11, while all other year levels are subject to availability.
Families who do not receive an offer are retained on our waitlist. Additional offers are made outside of the main offer round as places become available in line with our Admissions Policy. Our waitlist constantly changes, and to avoid disappointment, we encourage families to apply as early as possible.

Submit Your Application
Complete the online application form and pay the fee to begin the enrolment process for your child.

Offers
Following attendance at an Admissions Appointment, offers for places are made on or after 1 March two years preceding entry.

Acceptance
Acceptance of an offer is required to secure a place. A contractual agreement is entered into with the School and there is a requirement to pay an Admissions Fee and Tuition Bond.

New students are always warmly welcomed to our vibrant School community. We provide a tailored transition and orientation program to support the best start possible for our students.

Entry Points

Boarding applications are welcomed across Years 7 to 12, and priority is given to Boarding students on our waitlist.

How can I visit Pembroke?

What is your Admissions Policy? How do you select students?
Pembroke is a non-selective day and boarding school. We offer places based on date of application, with priorities for old scholars, current siblings, children of staff, Boarding and our Intensive English Pembroke Connect Program. When will my child start school?

How far in advance should we apply?
We recommend families who are interested in their children attending Pembroke apply as soon as possible. We offer places based on date of application, with priorities for old schoalrs, current siblings, children of staff, Boarding and our Intensive English Pembroke Connect Program.
Is it too late to apply?
Applications remain open at all times, and we are able to add families to our waitlist. Some places may become available throughout the year. We also welcome families moving from overseas or interstate and understand start times may not coincide with a Term 1 commencement.
How do we apply?
Please complete an online application form for each child.
On receipt of the completed application and accompanying $110 Application Fee, your child’s name will be placed on our waitlist for the year level and year of entry.
Please note that completion of an application to Pembroke does not guarantee enrolment for your child.
Can I specify an entry year other than one of the intake years?
You may nominate any year level for entry, however please note there is no guarantee a place will become available.
I have received an email asking for confirmation of interest for my child to attend Pembroke in the future. Does this mean a place is available?
Approximately two years before entry, we send an email to families on our waitlist. This is to reconfirm a family’s intention of enrolling their child at Pembroke should a place be offered to them. We ask that families indicate their preference via an online form. Upon receipt of completed forms, we update our waitlists and offer positions according to our Admissions Policy.

What is my child’s position on the waitlist?
Each year level has its own waitlist, which can vary in length depending on whether it is an intake year or not. We do not advise a child’s position on the waitlist at any point in time, as the list changes constantly as families change their preferences.
