Pembroke Boarding
Boarding is part of the fabric at Pembroke where we proudly regard our residential student community as our fourth Sub-School.
Pembroke Boarding offers accommodation for boarders from Years 7 to 12 across two residential facilities.
Pembroke Boarding House is situated next to Pembroke’s Haslam Oval and across the road from the Middle School King’s Campus. Turner House is located on Girton Campus and is specifically designed for many of our senior boarders, complementing the Senior School’s young adult pre-university environment.

Supporting Every Student’s Journey Beyond Home
Our boarders are cared for by Boarding Supervisors and Assistants who are on hand day and night to assist students with their needs. Safety and security are our highest priority, with staff on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Boarding staff and teachers provide tailored pastoral care and academic support, and communicate regularly with parents about the progress of their children.
A boarder’s daily routine is aimed at ensuring a balanced and organised approach to school, homework, sport, co-curricular and weekend activities, as well as prioritising time to relax, socialise and have fun.
Living and Thriving Together at Pembroke
Boarding at Pembroke offers a convenient, central location as it is only a few kilometres from Adelaide’s CBD and features easy access to public transport.
Our remarkable facilities include a stunning al fresco area, the School pool, Haslam Oval sports precinct and a new dining room for boarders on our King’s Campus. While boarders cannot access residential wings other than their own, large common recreational areas provide opportunities for them to socialise together.
Each term, we run an extensive and vibrant Recreational Activity Program informed by student suggestions and ideas. Group outings are organised by Boarding staff during weekends.
A firm of professional caterers provides boarders with excellent meals where the weekly menu is healthy, varied and created specifically for the nutritional needs of fast-growing teenagers.

Stronger Together
Find Your Home Away From Home
For us at Pembroke, boarding is all about connections and relationships – connecting with students and building relationships with families to help them not only navigate but indeed embrace this life-changing experience.
For families wishing to explore our boarding facilities, a Personal Tour is highly recommended. To request a booking, or arrange a phone or video chat, contact our Admissions Department via admissions@pembroke.sa.edu.au or +61 8 8366 6217.
