Pembroke Boarding
Pembroke Boarding is a home away from home where students build friendships, receive academic tutoring and support, and experience Australian culture and lifestyle in a safe, caring and nurturing environment.
All international students who are successful in their admission to Pembroke School are required to be boarding students if they do not live in South Australia with at least one parent or nominated relative/guardian. Where beds in Pembroke Boarding are not available, international students are required to reside in School-approved Homestay until vacancies open.

Intensive English – Pembroke Connect Program
The Pembroke Connect Program prepares recently arrived international students for study at Pembroke School.
Specific to our Middle School (Years 7 – 10), the course enables students to fully embrace our learning and caring culture by enhancing skills in reading, writing, listening and speaking, while also deepening their understanding of Australian culture and the education system.

Application Process

Submit Your Application
Complete an application form* and pay the fee.
We welcome applications from international students from all over the world.

English Language Requirements
Pembroke requires the results of an English Language Proficiency test for international applicants for whom English is an additional language**.

Interview
Students who satisfy our English Language Proficiency, school results and other criteria are invited to have an interview.

Offers
If our criteria are met and a place is available, an offer is made.

Acceptance
Acceptance of an offer is required to secure a place. A contractual agreement is entered into with the School and there is a requirement to pay an Admissions Fee and Tuition Bond.

Commencement
New students are always warmly welcomed to our vibrant School community. We provide a tailored transition and orientation program to support the best start possible for our students.
*Application Forms
The following must be provided:
- The applicant’s school reports from the past two years (at a minimum), translated into English and certified if required
- A copy of the applicant’s birth certificate
- A copy of the applicant’s passport
- English Language Proficiency test results (AEAS, TOEFL, IELTS all accepted)
The above documents must be in English or you must arrange certified English translations to upload with your application form.
**English Language Requirements
English Language Proficiency test results are considered alongside other information provided by the family.
Pembroke recommends the Australian Educational Assessment Services (AEAS) test which is administered throughout the world. Students can register online or Education Agents can assist with the process. For further information about AEAS testing, click here or email admin@aeas.com.au.
