Pembroke Old Scholars Football Club
Founded in 1932 by old scholars of King’s College, the club joined the amateur league and has built a proud sporting tradition spanning more than 60 years. Following the merger of King’s College and Girton Girls’ School in 1974 to form Pembroke School, the club was renamed Pembroke Old Scholars in 1978. From 1990, the nickname Kings was adopted in recognition of the club’s heritage. Today, the club fields five teams including a women’s side – the Queens – established in 2021.
All matches are played on Saturdays, with Haslam Oval on The Parade serving as the club’s home ground. Training is held at Haslam Oval on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5.45pm, and post-match functions take place on Saturday evenings at the club’s sponsor hotel. All old scholars, as well as family and friends of the School, are welcome to join as players, sponsors or supporters.

InU (In Unitate)
InU or In Unitate, formerly the Pembroke Choral Society, has been on song for half a century.
InU is a mixed voice choir with an entertaining repertoire that focuses on a-capella versions of current and classic pop/contemporary. A Fringe performance is a highlight of the year. InU is currently seeking singers! Being an old scholar is a bonus but not a necessity. For further information, please contact inuchoir@gmail.com and check out our Facebook page.
